How to Apply to Nazarian MBA

Applying to the MBA program is aÌýtwo-step process. Applicants must first complete the University application atÌýÌýthen proceed to the MBA Program application.ÌýÌý

Applications must include all required material and only complete applications will be reviewed by the MBA Admissions Committee. Submitting a complete application is the responsibility of the applicant.ÌýÌý
*Anyone applying after the University Application Deadline may not receive financial aid in time for tuition payment deadline.Ìý
- Complete and submit yourÌýÌýby the application deadline and submit theÌý$70 (U.S.) application fee payable to "The California State University". The fee is non-refundable and may not be transferred to another term. Specific payment instructions are available when you submit your online application.Ìý
- Submit official transcripts to the university's mailing address below.TheÌýCSUN Nazarian MBA program requires that you submit official transcript(s) from all colleges and universities attended. Official transcript(s) must be in their original sealed envelope(s).Ìý

GMAT/GRE waivers available. Please complete that section on the MBA program application in ApplyWeb. Criteria and information concerning the GMAT/GRE Waiver is below:Ìý
Applicants to theÌýMBA ProgramÌýin the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics 91´«Ã½ areÌýgenerally required to supply GMAT or GRE scores as part of their application package. Under certainÌýcircumstances, an applicant may petition toÌýwaive the GMAT or GRE requirement.
Waiver of the GMAT/GRE will be considered for applicants who meet at least one of the following conditions:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an acceptable institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0,Ìýand a minimum of 1 year full-time professional work experience preferred.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an acceptable institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0, andÌýholds a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, SHRM, PMP).
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an acceptable institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 orÌýbetter and can supply an acceptable score on the MCAT/LSAT or equivalent.
- Holds a master’s degree from an acceptable institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 orÌýbetter.
- Holds a terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D., J.D., D.D.S., Ed.D.) from an acceptableÌýinstitution.
The decision to grant the GMAT waiver rests with the MBA Program Office and is determined in jointÌýconsideration with the rest of the candidate's application materials; satisfaction of the above criteria does notÌýconstitute an automatic waiver.
