Dr. Wendy Murawski (Executive Director of Center for Teaching & Learning):
- is also Director of The SIMPACT Mental Health Project. SIMPACT uses virtual simulation for cost-effective professional development to improve the skills of mental health clinicians in community-based mental health agencies. SIMPACT is getting lots of positive publicity and doing excellent work. The SIMPACT team has trained numerous educators, social workers, and marriage family therapists this year already. - was keynote speaker for all of Redondo Beach Unified School district elementary educators on January 27, 2020. Her topic was "Embracing Inclusive Practices." The 300 participants gave a standing ovation at the end!
- presented three workshops at the Council for Exceptional Children conference in Portland Oregon on Feb 4-5, 2020. The focus area is on co-teaching.
- will be doing two keynote presentations in Denmark Feb 26-27, 2020.
