Check your CSUN email and CSUN Portal often for important updates. Visit CSUN IT's User ID and Password page to activate your CSUN account.
We understand that finances are a big part of your decision to attend a university. At CSUN, 88% of students receive financial aid! Learn more about options available to you at Financial Aid & Scholarships.
The 2025-2026  (FAFSA) and  (CADAA) opened on Dec. 31, 2024. New FAFSA applicants can  now. Both students and parents/guardians will need an account. (Your username and password will become your FSA ID.) It can take 1-3 days to verify account information.
We recommend submitting the FAFSA or CADAA as soon as possible once the forms become available. CSUN’s federal school code is 001153.
