What is CARE?

The Center for Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CARE) at California State University, Northridge was established to connect faculty and students who are trained in assessment, research and evaluation with researchers, principal investigators and community agencies in need of assistance in these three areas. CARE personnel are well trained to assist as

  1. Developers of scales and assessments based on modern psychometric theory,
  2. Consultants for research design and staffing for research implementation, and
  3. Evaluators for grants, grant proposals and contracts.

CARE provides services, training, and professional development for faculty, students, and community agencies as well as employment and mentorship for CSUN undergraduate and graduate students.
