Project Rebound, Community Alternatives to 911 and several other entities are presenting a series, "Collectively Understanding Carcerality and Learning Transformative Justice." The series will engage various issues of criminalization and incarceration. The first event, "Remembering Quinten Thomas: The Fight for Justice Continues" will feature Saharra White, who will speak on the struggle to seek some semblance of justice for Quinten Thomas, who was a CSUN student that died incarcerated at Twin Towers on March 9th, 2018. Saharra will be joined by other community activists organizing against racialized state violence.
