Advisement & Resources
Advisement is REQUIRED for ALL Journalism students.
First-Time-Freshmen
- First time freshmen in their first year are required to seek academic advisement at the in the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication.听
Second-Year-Freshmen through 59 units
- Second year freshmen through 59 units are required to meet with our听Academic Staff Adviser听in the Journalism Department office.
Upper Division Students
- Upper division students who have completed 60 units through senior year are strongly urged听to seek and complete semester-by-semester academic advisement with their assigned faculty adviser.
Students on Academic Notice
- Students who are on academic notice or disqualified must contact the听for additional academic advisement requirements.
