Nazarian College students may seek advisement by calling听(818) 677-3537听to schedule an appointment.

To ensure your success, advisement is highly recommended prior to registration for all incoming transfer students.

Advisement for incoming transfer students will begin in mid-April for Fall admits and mid-October for Spring admits.听 To schedule an appointment, please call听(818) 677-3537听or check the appointment invitation email that was sent to your CSUN email account.

Students interested in finding out more information about attending CSUN should contact the听听to meet with a Pre-Admissions Counselor. Please visit听听for business courses you may complete at your community college.

All EOP students with declared majors in Nazarian College of Business and Economics will obtain academic听advisement from our office.听 Please call听(818) 677-3537听to schedule an appointment.

Nazarian听College Students

  • Students will have a registration hold during the semester immediately following placement on academic notice and each fall and spring semester thereafter while on academic notice. Prior to registration,听business majors must schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling听(818) 677-3537.听 The registration hold will be removed once the student has been advised.

Students not currently majoring in Business

It is suggested that previously disqualified 听students complete the听Disqualification Online Workshop听prior to meeting with an advisor. To schedule an appointment with an advisor, please call听(818) 677-3537.

Previously Disqualified students who have been readmitted to CSUN will be required to meet with a Nazarian College Academic Advisor until both their CSUN and total GPAs are at least a 2.0. Please call听(818)677-3537听to schedule an advisement appointment.

Academic advisement is mandatory for all first-time freshmen prior to registration.听 As soon as you are admitted to CSUN, please be sure to check your CSUN email regularly and your Portal account to ensure that you do not miss any important registration information.听 Instructions are sent via email to provide guidance on steps to take to schedule your appointment to register for your first semester classes.

The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics Student Services Center and EOP satellite听provides academic advisement and guidance for all听First Year Students with majors in the Nazarian College of Business and Economics, including those admitted听to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).听听

Majors in听Nazarian College of Business and Economics: Accountancy, Business Analytics, Business Law, Economics, Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Global Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Real Estate, Risk Management and Insurance, and Systems and Operations Management

Freshmen with majors outside of Business will schedule their mandatory advisement sessions with the Student Services Center/EOP satellite for the academic college that their major falls under (check here to find your advisement office).听 Additionally, incoming freshman who are declared as Exploratory or are international students will be seen by the Matador Advising Hub.听
