Academic Advising

If you鈥檝e been admitted to CSUN and have declared your Intent to Enroll, it鈥檚 time to start thinking about academic advising. Academic advising helps ensure you get the classes you need to create a smooth and efficient path toward graduation. All incoming freshmen are required to meet for advising. Advising is recommended (and may be required, depending on your major) for transfer students.

To find your academic advisor, visit University Advising and choose your student category, or select from the table below.

EOP Students EOP Service Center/Satellite for the college that houses your major. EOP Exploratory majors meet with the听EOP Exploratory Advisement Coordinator.
Liberal Studies ITEP Students Department of Interdisciplinary Studies and Liberal Studies.
Most New Freshmen Matador Advising Hub.听 But听find exceptions for new freshmen.
New International Students The Hub International for new F-1 Visa freshmen and transfers.
Student Athletes Matador Achievement Center.
Transfer Students Meet with an advisor within the college that houses your major. Find your major and its college听here.
