Our free and low-cost services and programs are available to currently enrolled CSUN students. Health insurance is not required to access Klotz Student Health Center services. The Klotz Student Health Center pharmacy and outside laboratory services may accept some insurance plans and most Medi-Cal plans. Please call (818) 677-3666 for more information.

Please note: Students are financially responsible for all care beyond the scope of the Klotz Student Health Center. Any costs not covered by their health insurance will be the student's responsibility.Ìý

Students are strongly encouraged to have a health insurance policy to cover major medical expenses, such as medical emergencies, hospital visits, and surgeries.Ìý

is California's online marketplace where you can compare and choose health insurance plans as required by the Federal Affordable Care Act. You will also be able to learn if you qualify for Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid health insurance program.

In addition to providing a breadth of free health care and education services, the Klotz Student Health Center participates in the program that can help eligible students receive free or low-cost sexual and reproductive health services.

Currently enrolled students are welcome to visit the Klotz Student Health Center for a free consultation with a clinician, nurse, or clinical health educator to explore their health and wellness needs and options. (If you are enrolled in a managed care (HMO) Medi-Cal plan, you may be referred to your assigned primary care provider for certain services.)
