New Student AdvisementÌý- Workshops for new Freshmen and Transfer students on academic requirements and registration procedures.

Freshman Mentor ProgramÌý-Ìý Peer Advisors offer information, referrals, and personal support to help students strengthen their academic skills, encourage involvement in campus life and create a sense of belonging.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) ServicesÌý- The SSC/EOP offers supplemental services for EOP students with majors in the College.

Student Success WorkshopsÌý- Sessions on study techniques, time management, test taking, money management and more.

Career and Internship ServicesÌý- Information on what you can do with your degree and gaining experience while a student.

TutoringÌý- We encourage students in all departments to take advantage of theÌýFREE tutoring opportunitiesÌýavailable to them.

Advisement/Registration workshops for First-Time Freshmen are held on an ongoing basis..Ìý

To attend a workshop you must:

Be an admitted student for the upcoming semester.

Either have taken or be exempt from the English & Math placement exams (EPT/ELM).

Have your CSUN User ID and Password.

Advisement workshops for new Transfer Students will be held prior to each semester.

Black HouseÌý- The Black House provides students with a plethora of resources that enhance their undergraduate experience. Furthermore, the resources and services offered at the Black House facilitate student success and aim to increase retention and graduation rates. Resources and services include tutoring services, internship opportunities, community workshops, lectures, and screening spaces.
